A few months ago I was researching new engines for my Ford Falcon. I found that 96' Ford Explorer engines are identicle to 93' Ford Mustang Cobra engines except for minor things like Cam and timing. Same GT40 Intake, and Heads. So this was a sneaky donar engine to get a hot engine. But the reason they swapped cam was to get more torque vs HP. I know its a bit off the mark. In generaly you take from HP to give to Torque or vice versa. Some mods give to both but in general to give you got to take from somewhere else.
