Why spend the money on the goodyear (crappy tire to begin with)??? Save it for when you upgrade them all!

yeah, i would agree, dont buy a spare to match, however when you do buy new tires, get 5 of the same, dont be cheap like the person who owned it before you obviously was and only get 4

Well....I am that obviously cheap person who only bought 4 Revo's....still got the goodyear spare

Anyways, I believe the Costco BFG sale runs through october....I know it was going on last month as well. That's the best deal you can get, bar none. I got my Revo's (back when Costco still carried Bridgestone's) on that sale and it beat everybody else in town by far. Plus, you can't beat the lifetime balance and rotations....plus i've not had any problems out of their repair warranty either (had to get one plugged after a bolt became lodged inside it.....didn't go flat though!!!)

I am another one of those "cheepies".....I wanted BFG A/T's but they didn't make them in my size so I put on 4 Hercules Terra Trac A/T's and still have the POS Goodyear hanging out on the rear - but the ugly thing is hiding under the cover. It has about 8,000 miles on it and is plugged from a stone puncture off-road. POS tire. This bothers me a little.

One of 2 things will happen now. When I wear down the Terra Trac's past my comfort zone, I will get 4 more and replace the spare with the best of the others.......or if they start making the BFG's A/T's in my size I will get 5 in a heartbeat. Then I will not be running a cover.

sorry, hope i didnt offend anyone when i said dont be cheap...i meant it in a better way, as in, its good for your vehicle to have the same type/size tire when you need it. there is a reason donut spares are not supposed to be driven for a long duration, or at high speeds.

Mine have the defrost emblem on both mirrors.
