I've been wanting the same thing to. I would love my foglights to stay on with the high beams. There has to be a way to override it safely.

When you do the install put a relay in the system and run pwer through a fuse to the battery. That way your only using a slight bit more power to activate the relay and pulling the power from a different source with the correct wiring size for the additional current draw. Most aftermarket lights have install kits that give you all the stuff necessary.

Shouldnt need to add another relay just modify the wiring to the original fog relay that is already in place. It already has the proper sized wiring. Unless polarity has to be reversed somewhere along the line, then a nother relay will have to be added. I wont know untill i attempt this. After checking with my co-worker ( who is great with 12v systems) it looks like there are a few ways to do it. I cant test this untill thursday when i'm off from work. It's gonna require some time but i want to keep it as simple as possible without rewiring/hacking the entire fog light system. I think its gonna work but we'll see. [-o< I'll keep you posted. If it works i'll do a write up on it since i know a few of you are interested in this mod.

By the way does anybody know if the fog light indicator on the dash functions when the mopar fogs are added to a liberty that didn't come with factory fogs?

Ok, Its all done the mod and the "how to". =D> I emailed the "how to" to Bennett so he can post it in the "how to" section for all to see. I was just out doing about an hour worth of road testing in the snow and it's fine. I'm also using the 9005's in the fog lights. Nice and bright now. Later on down the road i still plan to install some hella 500's but this will do for now. \:D/
