How long can the liberty be driven, minus the rear drive shaft, in four wheel high?

The reason I ask, is that I have to drive to the lumberyard 12 miles away and I just didn't need another surprise. ThanksI don't think there is a definitive answer. I suggest gently.
I agree, without the assistance of the rear drive shaft also moving the jeep that little front drivshaft is overworked. Be gentle and drive as little as possible. All this stuff turns in regular 2wd mode. I have driven a lot of highway miles in the winter in part-time 4hi. I reckon the front driveshaft is the weak link; they start to squeak under load.
