Two Jeeps Tony

Hi Guys,
I am a habitual Jeep owner from the UK, I currently have a flat fender Jeep (1953 Willys/Hotckiss Jeep) and a 2002 Jeep Cherokee (KJ).
These are actually Nr 4 & Nr 5 Jeeps in a line of modern and old timer Jeeps. My knowledge of flat fenders is inversely proportional to my knowledge (or lack of) of the modern Jeeps.
I'd like to slightly modify my Jeep with expedition roof rack, more aggressive wheels and possibly a more robust bumper but my budget doesn't extend to an ARB although this seems to be the bumper of choice!
Any help or advice eagerly accepted,
