I'm new, but I've been visting this website to get help an ideas for things to do to my liberty, and its time I have to start asking questions. I have a 2003 stone white Jeep Liberty kj Limited with a 3.7L PowerTech V6. As of now I have 173,125 miles on the dash and I've owned it since 2017 with 167,845 miles on it.
As I am in high school, I'm cheap so I have to make a lot of changes my self the cheapest way possible.
I have an Instagram for the KJ, @othree_white_liberty

Welcome Carter.
With X-mas coming soon, I am hoping your parents can give you some extra $, as new springs -(927 & 948 OME) + shocks is the only way to go.
Are you working part time? Possibly you can save up to eventually get the correct parts required.

I am working part time, and I am hoping to get a good lift and turn my kj into a unique beast

If you're been looking at this site you've hopefully learned that it's worth it to do it right the first time. So be patient and save up for the OME/Bilstein treatment, it'll be worth the wait. In the mean time you can add clevis lift to the stock suspension, it's free and easy. Welcome and stay in school!

Have you ever or has anyone ever changed the springs and shocks on it

If not park on level surface, measure left front, middle of the wheel to bottom of the flare and report back with what you have

I do not believe they have ever been changed, but this vehicle is also in the exact same shape as a brand new one. I will have to get back to you on the measure soon

Welcome to the forum. Have you done any maintenance to your KJ?

When I first got it, it only ever had gotten driven once a week for three years. So it was an oil guzzler but it has new tires, oddly enough two different brands (not me), a new radiator, Im about to change the oil for a second time. BUT it does need a new front driveshaft because there is a slip and it clicks and the most trust worthy shop I know says they can do it cheap and that it is definitely the problem.

welcome. As most are saying look at shocks and springs and new struts when you can. Liberty parts for lifts will be hard to come by so get them while you can
