What tires????

They had the best price i could find on the Kumho Road Venture AT KL78's in 225/75R16, around here they average $100 or so a tire, and you don't even want to know what Yoko's or Firestones run in my area.

We have Kumho tires on the car, great traction for even a regular street tire, great on the ice and through snow, the AT's should be a good match for the KJ.

$82.00 each plus $69.52 shipping. A total of $99.38 per tire for a set of four. I could have went up a load range but since the recommended tires are 101S 1,819lbs at 112Mph, these at 104S 1,984 at 112Mph seemed like a good affordable fit. And they have good reviews and lots of satisfied customers after doing some google searching.

The only thing i could find around me locally for that price was the cheap Uniroyal Liberators from Wal-Mart and i have heard so-so reviews about them, and even read some bad things about them online as well.

Yokohama Geolandar AT's here would cost me $128 each
Firestone Destination AT's here would cost me $139 each

And those prices don't include mounting and balancing!!

With mounting and balancing i will have about $425 total into a set of four Kumho's. Eventually i will order another one to replace the spare also.

Tires for mine are pricey, as I have the 17 inchers. The General Grabbers AT2's I want are $125 a piece.....which is right in my range!!!:D

The KL78 is available in 17 inches as well.

What i found nice is i don't have to pay sales tax to TireRack, so that helps. That accounts for a far amount of price difference as well.

Man TireRack is FAST.. Ordered at Noon today and got the email this afternoon that the order was processed, released to shipping, and they sent me the UPS tracking numbers, all in the same day!! Now thats what i call service man. Those boys don't mess around.

Yes i do plan on giving everyone a review of their performance.

I found a few things online google searching for Jeep and Kumho KL78, seems i'm definitely not the first one to use these on a Liberty.

This is the first time i have ordered from them also, its looking good so far!
