I've had cars my whole life. I finally decided to get something a little bigger. I traded in my 2008 Grand Prix for a 2011 Jeep Liberty. I've literally only had it about 24 hours now, but I love it so far. Only bad thing I see right now is it looks to have terrible gas mileage :icon_frown:

Welcome. Gas mileage isn't the Jeeps strong suit but fun is....haha It should get a little better when the engine breaks in though.

Congrats on the Jeep. Welcome to the madness.

"It's a Jeep thing you wouldn't understand." should read "It's a Jeep thing, even we don't understand."

The only reason I looked into jeep was because my buddy just bought a brand new tricked out wrangler. So I really went looking to get a grand cherokee because I wanted something roomy. Ended up driving off the lot with '11 Liberty Sport. I love it so far. It can be rugged, but still pretty sharp looking.

But now my buddy busts my balls about having a liberty and says I can't join the "jeep club" because it's not a wrangler and they won't wave to me...lol. I'm happy with it.

Oh I love when people say that we can't be in the jeep club because we drive a liberty. Well we can still kick ass. After being made fun of by my boyfriend and his best friend for not getting a "real jeep" they had to call me the other night to pull them out of a ditch they got stuck in while messing around down at the beach. I was in about a foot of mud and Mr. Darcy and I pulled them right out of that ditch like I was cutting through melted butter :happy175: I know that's an odd analogy, but that's what it felt like.

Anyway... Welcome! And enjoy your liberty, they are a ton of fun!
