I have posted before about my 2003 jeep liberty 3.7 and the headache it has given me. I bought it used with 193,423 miles on it. I had a running issue with #4 misfire so I decided to replace the whole set of injectors, coils, then replaced Crank and cam sensor. I bought them from rockauto also replaced map and IAT sensors. The misfire got worse to the point of all the cylinders misfired and driving it was difficult. So I replaced the computer with a rebuilt. Long story short my buddy told me to put back the old Crank and cam sensor. I first put put back the old Crank sensor and the misfires went away. I forgot to mention with the new Crank sensor if you revved the engine in park to 2500 rpm. The check engine light would come on and every cylinder would misfire. With the stock original Crank sensor it did not happen. The rebuilt pcm fixed #4 misfire so I replaced the Crank sensor since I figured the one from rockauto was defective. So I installed from auto zone a durlast Crank sensor. I have always used their products so I installed the new Crank sensor and the problem came back multiple misfires. I put the original back in and no misfire so I ordered from rockauto a Mopar Crank and cam sensor. I installed it no misfires!! But now I was getting Bank 1 running to rich and it would not go away. So I decided on ordering a Mopar map sensor and replace the one from rockauto. So after the install of the Mopar map sensor. The problem with Bank 1 is gone drove it for a hour my fuel trims are perfect. I never seen a vehicle that would not run with anything other than the factory brand parts. It will be my 1st and last jeep and I fixed everything from cooling system to painting the hood and roof.

LOL I have heard that one statement about every brand of car, truck, SUV there is . " this is my first and last _________"
At 193,000 miles you are expecting to replace a few things
As far as using MOPAR parts the rest are mainly junk anymore

Keeping it Mopar often means proven reliability & it running well.
The off shore stuff.. is very questionable now-a days.

It's not Jeep's fault that aftermarket parts have bad quality control, but thanks for proving our point of always stick to Mopar for sensors.

Given a choice between a used Mopar part or a new aftermarket part, I’ll take the Mopar every time. I have tail light housings, window switches, a door latch, a CV, and all sorts of other lightly used OEM parts on my Jeep now.

I mean it's like $10-20 more for the Mopar versions of those parts. Jeep parts really aren't that expensive anyways, why not just spend the little bit more for good OEM parts? My last car was a 3 Series. Buying parts for the Jeep is like a celebration every time I see how cheap the parts are.
