Introduction

Good day all,

I believe in giving proper introduction before posting. I live in the US Virgin Islands. I just bought THREE Jeep Liberty's at auction. I am keping two- a 2005 and a 2006. Already all three have had the window regulator issue so I should soon be an expert at fixing that.

I surf, kayak, hike, dive, sail... anything outdoors. I also build wood surfboards and kayaks. I have outfitted my Liberty with Yakima racks and plan to add some lighting. Despite the window issues, I love the Libertys!

Are they right hand drive? That is pretty much all I remember from my trip to the Virgin Islands; RHD cars and driving on the wrong side of the road.

Only RHD in the British Virgins, not here in the good ole USVI although he didn't say USVI or bvi so maybe they are?

Hello all, and thanks for the replies. Also a big hello to Badkitty. Do you own the boat by the same name? I am in STT- Bolongo Bay.

The reason they are all white is they were US Customs vehicles used to drive around the airport. The 2006 only has 6100 miles. The other two each had 8000 miles. Crazy! Our tax dollars at work. They bought brand new GMC's and sold the perfectly good Jeeps.

Badkitty PM me if you know someone wanting the 2007 with 8100 miles. Firm price 12,000 but it may be sold to a friend. I gave him a week to decide. He is moving down here. Auto, power windows, rear tint, CD player. Runs great. Heck, it has 8,000 miles.

So the main thing I am doing is setting it up to carry surfboards and kayaks, and add a few lights. I have a VW dune buggy for playing off road. The other is for my wife and remains stock.

Hahaha I do not own Badkitty although I have always wanted one of their shirts or something.

I don't know anyone in the market for a jeep right now. As much as I would love to get Mr. Darcy a friend we just bought an '89 wrangler as a fun project girlfriend for him.

Give ahonk if you ever see us on the road, Mr. Darcy is the only liberty with a home made roof rack and my spare cover is pretty easy to spot

Especially when they spend $15,000.00 on a multiple impact driving unit.
