If the insurance takes care of you, there is no need to sue. Just my 2 cents. If you're hurt, and missing work, that's another story.

well, i probably would have attempted to get pain and suffering money but the woman was a former student of my mother's so didn't feel comfortable sayin' I was in pain when I wasn't.

Yeah, I agree but a friend of mine got rearended 3 times in 1 week and he has a huge dodge pick up and all it did was break his receiver hitch ornament and bend his exhaust tips down and he got 3 grand for the damage and $1800 for pain and suffering, he spent $200 getting his exhaust cut off, put on a magnaflow cat, and a turn down just behind the cab and pocketed $4600 which he eventually spend on a crotchrocket lol

That's very true about 60% of tone is derived from facial expression and voice. That entire 60% is completely lost via internet lol its hard to know what people are meaning alot of times.

Sorry i meant to add that he got money because it did permanent back damage, he's been on pain killers and muscle relaxers for 4 years or so.

Yeah, I got that. I also know some people, one who fell off latter while working and now he is slightly limping, yet people envy him because he's getting free place to live, free cable, tv, etc (he is a superintendent in a building), yet nobody seems to remember that he is in fact in pain he would probably give back everything to get rid of that.

Then there are others, "oooh my neck hurts" the bastard who did it to my cousin when he slightly nudged him on his van's back bumper with his benz. The cops came over and said it is impossible to have any neck injury from a hit like this... Of course my cousin paid the fine and got the report, even though the bastard did not even have any kind of insurance, YET my cousins insurance had to pay for it because there is "uninsured drivers" clause..

So anyone, let's all drive safe and avoid this type of issues, but sometimes road rage gets to us and it is too late..

I hope you get yours on the mend soon, mine just got picked up by the body shop this afternoon, should have it back tomorrow afternoon. Would have had it back today but he found that he needed one more part that he didn't have yet, forgot to order it or the place forgot to ship, etc. Oh well, i can wait one more day.. (chewing my fingernails)

Yeah let us know what the estimate comes back as. I was shocked at my estimate, it was just plastic stuff!

Well, took the jeep to the body shop today and got their estimate and left it with them to fix. Cost is $3250.64, they said they'd order parts probably be here tuesday and that it'd take them 5 to 6 days to get it fixed, so I'm looking at getting it back around the 24th...

Well this has been one hell of a week...

Monday I wrecked the KJ as shown here lol yesterday after noon I was backing up my 400cc Arctic Cat ATV down a hill while turning and it got up on its side and flipped over. I fell off and was not caught under it but my left foot wasn't that lucky. The brake lever came down right on the inside of my foot and went straight through and out the other side. Basically like a shish kabob right through the arch of my foot and out the other side, I had to jerk my foot off of the lever because the ball on the end was stuck and wouldn't come out. So I hobbled to the back door and yelled at my brother and he carried me to the car and hauled ass to the ER at 4:30pm where I was rushed right in on the border line of going into shock. They did xrays and a ct scan immediately. I laid in the bed waiting for results of the ct scan until 11:00pm because the ER doctors couldn't tell if it had split my bones right in two or if it had missed them so they had to send it off to a radiologist. So in the mean time I had 2 shots of morphine which were just not cutting it so then they gave me a shot of demoral through the IV. Finally about 11:30 the doctor came in and sewed me up and perscribed me hydrocodones and an antibiotic and sent me home. I can't walk on it at all and have been laying in bed all day, it ***** pretty bad guess its a good time for my KJ to be in the shop anyway cuz I couldn't drive it now anyway.
