Hello i am new to jeeps in GENERAL... My way of trying to keep my heart happy is since being rendered unable to work on days i feel good i try and find people to help in agreement that they compensate me to their choice depending on the work provided. This guy was so nice and amazing he had me work for him for two days cleaning around his tiny corner lot of the trailerpark. he paid me $100 each day as well as gave me this jeep. its in perfect condition or at least seemed to be. He said he just fininshed installing the EGR delets kit and all needed to be done was the three bumper lego pieces that housed the headlightys and turn signals. As well as it needed a battery and tires were old he said but they hold air just fine. As i have drivin it about a total of 1300 miles since receiving it with only 116000 ish miles on her. She starts right up and i assume it is supposed to sound like a mini semi kind of. I've had very little to no power it takes a minute to get up to speed but i maintain it once reached. until 2 days ago i went literally across the street AND..... POP!!!! the giant black cloud and literally couldn't get it to stay started with out pressing on the gas. there was what was identified by myself ( i work in taxes not cars)as a pcv connector hose. So i examined the engine thoroughly like a spider monkey making sure i looked everywhere possible for the hose to connect to and literally located a goopy hole. Again not a mechanic. so ive assumed through my troubleshooting and you tube videos and the jeep information inhere i needed a pcv TO CONNECT THE HOSE TO THE ENGINE BLOCK? umm im stuck because the information stated the pcv was on the stem of the oil insertion spot where the oil goes on mine is a solid copper pipe..... I have a super important meeting in Denver tomorrow and its my only form of transportation Please any advice would be amazing as I know zero about anything diesel its like Chinese to me

Is it making any nasty noises? Knocking, tapping etc.
If it's blown the PCV hose off it suggests a blockage in the vent system.
The lack of power is probably a dirty or faulty MAP sensor but its worth checking the turbo hoses too as a split in one will dump all the boost pressure.
A properly running CRD is a powerful old truck easily capable of keeping up with traffic.
This is a good diagram of the layout on a CRD from the good folks on Lost Jeeps. CCV is the crank case vent or PCV.
