Went to the Lake District over weekend ,beautiful place ,tried a bit of off roading on a green lane ,couldnt go to far as i had no back up to cross the fells and rivers and didnt fancy getting stuck. But youve gotta start somewere eh!. Mostly a rocky climb half way up a mountain pictures dont do the gradient justice. I'm gonna return with another vehicle as support and do the complete trail. There are 76 trails that allow 4x4's in the lakes and im gonna try em all ,may need lift kit for some of them. Also i will put my 16" wheels on and some better tyres than the crapyears. P.s try not to laugh at my first attempt at suspension flex.

England's Mountains Green? Very cool!
Yeah, rolling hills and mountains covered with a dense green carpet that we can only dream about over here  Very nice pictures Jimmy, just curious what that is in the passenger side of your windshield? Is it an inspection plate of some sort, some kind of parking permit, RFID pass for the motorways???

EDIT: also whereabouts is the lakes district? And as far as the flex picture goes, hey ya do what ya can :D

Its a road tax disc, you have to renew it every year mines £215gbp if my jeep was registered after march 2007 it would cost £300 and then rise to £400 in 2008 apparently i'm melting iceburgs and causing havoc around the globe hence the jeeps high tax bracket. But worst still they are slowly adding cities to the list that have to pay a congestion charge for your daily commute to work and this is as well as road tax and 80%fuel tax, so can someone please adopt me and i can move to the states.lol .And the lake district is in the North of England miles and miles of mountains and lakes and only an hour or so from my home so i try to get up there whenever possible.

OK, figured it was something like that where you'd have to have it prominently displayed. As far as the tax goes, that works out to about $430  Thats almost three years worth of vehicle registration for me in AZ! I think it's time to hunt down Al Gore and take a bat to him like he was a baby seal :p OK, I lied since I would never do that to a baby seal :D
