Larger tires, tread design and power loss?

Well, 235/70's look way too small on the lifted KJ. Trademarks available here are a little different from US, for street tires, I'm looking for the best price/performance ratio.

Kumho 245/70/16 Road Venture APT KL51 has got good reviews, and the price is very suitable. Or maybe Pirelli Scorpion for some more.

I have the Road Ventures on the LR3....very nice tire. Great in rain, very quiet...no complaints!

HJ thank you for your help. I really wonder if someone else has actually tried and experienced the largest street tire size without power loss. I have asked about it later in the posts in this thread, but since the title is not about this subject, I'm not sure if everybody heard my question.

I hate starting new threads when it's not really necessary, but I'm about to buy the tires, so I think I have to do it.
