Leaking axle seal

I'm about to pull my hair out with this dang axle seal. I replaced both front cv axles back in October. And shortly after the driver side axle seal started leaking. I have since out 4 new seals in it with no luck. They all continue to leak. I just became aware that there are inner axle seals. Could it be the inner seal is leaking or could it be that I got a bad cv axle that is warped or has a bur on it.

Only 2 things could be the cause..........

1- incorrect or incorrectly installed seals(or damaged seals)

2-the CV axle seal surface is the issue.

It has got to be the axle then. I consider myself pretty mechanically inclined, I just can't see myself installing 3 axle seals incorrectly.

How about the bearing that's immediately inboard of the seal? If it's worn, and the CV axle can hop around, the seal can't do its job.

Exactly what happened to a honda civic my kid owned, It was a bushing or bearing that required the ****** to be removed. Not sure about the KJ.

Best I can tell it's around the inner part or the runner part of the seal whee the axle slides in.

were they omix seals by chance ? there was a batch of omix seals for two different dana models back when i was at oreillys that were missing, or had faulty seal bands (the metal springy thing thats inside the lip of the seal) though, that was like 5 years ago.. so its more likely that theres some sort of imperfection in the cv seal mating surface , and considering both cvs were done at the same time, they may have been remanned at the same time with the same imperfection

the only other question is how overfilled is the diff, if any?

as for the bearings, there's just not enough relevant thickness in the bearing above the race for it to generate enough movement, in a short period, without you knowing it. i mean the overall thickness of the bearing above the race is like.. idk.. 1/64" - if that were the case youd probably also be playing chase the sound/harmonic

It is a national brand. Orielys is the only place I can get it local. The diff is not over filled. I put it on level ground and filled it till it rans out of the fill plug.

I would only use Mopar seals, the reason being is that the seals play a important role in keeping the fluid where it belongs.

I ordered Spicer seals because they make the diff. Incidentally, if you order the omix-ada ones, you get Spicer product with Omix Ada stickers over top.
