I have had my KJ for a year now and i recently got the idea of lifting it, mostly for looks. I do not plan to go mudding to much (if any). I have research a lot about it and seem many brands but i cant make my mind on what to go with. If i can get some advice and opinions i would really appreciated. Thank you!

I think if you take time to read on here, or LOSTJEEPS, you'll find mention of OME springs 927s front and 948s rear MANY MANY MANY times
also you'll find mention of either OME or bilstein shocks the same number of times
Follow that line of thinking with the extras we say to get and you'll have a great lift with enough lift to look great, handle fantastic and ride better than you ever thought possible!
Just say NO to spacer type lifts, dealing with RRO or Rustys and you'll be good
JeepinByAl is great along with AllJs

Thanks. I actually saw in another forum a list of things.

here is what you need*
been posted a 1000 times before
OME 927 front springs
OME 948 rear springs*
Teraflax front bumpstops*
Front shocks can be either OME or Bilstein, both ride and handle the same really
use stock front shocks*
rear use shocks for a 99-04 Dodge Dakota 4 wheel drive*
rear bumpstops use two hockey pucks per side bolted to the spring perch

Now my question is this only for a 4WD or does it work for both? Mine is 2WD and like I said I'm doing it mostly to give it a bad ass look so would you still say go with this?

Works for both, get the same lift etc, ride will be greatly improved and you will have the look you want
Throw on a set of 245-75-16s and be done and all bad azz looking

alright. Thanks for the help, i am new to this and i am trying to get something good and don't waste my money. For the shocks what can i go with; since it only tells me brands and not really a model or part # to go with. besides the rear where they suggest dakota 4wd shocks..thank you
