Loose sounds jingling, turns into violent clunking

Hello Burnzomatic ;
I had a similar noise in my 2003 . Sometimes mild tingling sound then periodic loud clunking.
Turned out to be the emergency brake assembly was shot / rusted / broke off ect and depending on where it lodged itself it would give those very annoying sounds .
Different approach than the others ....but maybe worth a look .
