Dropped the jeep at the dealership, told them to check the lower ball joints, i told them "they are noisy, please check" no need to go into details. And also I asked them to check the engine light.

No, I hope not. I have the pix above, will take pix after (if they claim they changed them).
He also told me he will check with his warranty dept to see if they can put this under "warranty/recall repair". I told them do whatever is needed, I have confirmation from chrysler that this should be covered.
He told me, chrysler may not give me full amount back because they pay different to the dealers..

OK. I will have to push for that. Anyway, Chrysler gave me a case number, I hope it becomes handy if the dealer tries to screw me. Is there anything we can find that I can use against them?

Update: Sorry it took me a long time to reply, I totally forgot about this topic. Dealer fixed my ball joints (replaced them) for the second time, and put it under recall. Yes they are new, they are all bluish and nice. No more noise (like before) either. There is still some noise, but it is obvious that this noise is coming from the bushings or suspension parts, and it is not that bad.

Thanks for all the help and replies.
