Need to replace my banged up rusted OE muffler + its rubbing on the rear driveshaft U-joint badly when right rear wheel stuffs.

I mainly look for:
  1. solve rubbing problem - need to be narrower than OE muffler body by at least 1-2 inches
  2. any minor increase in low rpm torque would be nice
  3. durability for off roading
  4. deep sound but not too loud
  5. reasonable price / availability

Was thinking Thrush welded:
Thrush® Welded Muffler - Center / Offset - Thrush® Exhaust P/N: 17650 - Thrush® Exhaust, Making Hot Rods Hotter Since 1966™

Good choice?
Any other recommendations?

P.S.
I need center inlet, offset outlet, 2.5" dia pipes?

Magnaflo does great, nit loud but nice tone.
Have them mount it so front is where stock was or a bit forward , most are shorter so that will take care of the rubbing

My 03 is still running stock
Ran Magnaflow on the 04 after getting rid of the awful FlowMaster
Magnaflow was a shorter than stock one I picked up at the parts store

I went with Gibson when I needed to replace mine. Looks good and sounds pretty close to stock.

Mine has a Thrush turbo (#17717). Was on it when I bought it. Doesn't drone or anything inside. In fact I didn't even know it was aftermarket till I looked under. Can't hear it when driving but does have a bit of a rumble outside.

Here's a quick vid I took today. Was recorded with an iphone 6, so...not the best but gives an idea.

Hey thanks for taking the time to record that.
Sounds very quiet, pretty stock-ish.

I was thinking about the welded model, I believe it gives a bit more low rumble. Donno about more power at low rpms, if this myth even exists...
Wondering if this is the correct model (Thrush 17650) for the KJ:

I have a magnaflow. The model # escapes me, though. It was a fairly short bodied, center/offset model (same setup as our Jeeps).
