Hello every one! I have a bds 2" lift on my 2007 liberty. I love the lift but I could use just a little more. Anyone know how to get and extra inch out of it. I'm not trying to stress out to cv's, but I'd like to be able to get some 31" tires under there with out scraping.

P.s. I measure 21" center hub to flare all the way round right now.

like any of the others ,
1/4 inch top plate for 1/2 inch lift
3/8 inch clevis for 3/4 inches of lift
so now you have 1.25 inches more
get an alignment and done
Oh and throw a couple extra upper isolators per side in the rear

and thats one of the issues with BDS, just don't get the lift you do with OME or Ironman

Some use 3-2” conduit nuts per side but not really needed and if you have stock oem shocks the conduit nuts will not fit.

Thanks!, but where do I go about getting a 1/4 top plate? Also, the lift amount is one of the reasons I went with BDS, OME only advertised 1.5 inch of lift without putting in Polly spacers. I'd rather have more spring travel and then ask the gurus here how to get it up a bit higher. Hell, i may eventually just thow a 1.5 daystar on top of it and make my own Franken Lift, although new A arms, brake line extentions, snd machined down cvs sound like a lot of work, and i dont even know what I would need to do to the rear. I also really do like the BDS springs. The ride is a major improvement.

This is where I'm at right now.

If researched you would of know that OME gives you around 2.25 or so without anything else . They advertise 1.5 due to insurance regulations in Australia .
DO NOT try and make your own Frankenlift unless you want a screwed up mess. It will be too high at that point.
Glad you like the BDS

Yeah, the "screwed up mess" is kind of what I was referring to with that laundry list of stuff needed to lift that high. I did some research about ome, but i had a hard time finding any one with just a pure ome lift without it being part of some other package like the frankenlift (proprietary spacers) or the JBA adjust a strut (im not a millionaire). Either way, thanks for the info, the clevis lift and isolators seem like they should give me what I'm looking for. With the isolators, are you saying you recommend 2 extra top isolators on top of the one that's there?

Also, since the lift I've been getting a low pitch vibration when accelerating between 50 and 55 and my u joints don't have any play. Do you know of another thread discussion about this? I can't seem to find one. Otherwise I'll just start a new thread

It looks like you have the height I'm looking for. And since you already have the clevis and top plate done, it looks like the OME and BDS springs are about the same height.

yes two per side on the top along with the stock one on the rear Isolators
Now this works when I do the OME with top plate and clevis to give you a level front to back lift With yours it may give you a slight nose rake. if you don't want that go with one per side and see where it sits and go from there. I've only helped install one BDS, all the rest have been OME variations/ frankenlifts and Ironman

As far as the vibes go, I've never ran into it on any I did. Seems some have though. One I did had bad rear u-joints but new ones fixed the vibrations. mines well over 4 inches of lift and no driveline vibes
