gas has skyrocketed in recent weeks, it was $3.80 3 weeks ago. now its $4.10, wtf is going on and dont you dare tell me they are switching the blend, that doesnt result in a more than 30 cent jump per gallon in a matter of weeks.
anyway i would like ti improve my mpg, evic says my average is 13.8 and since im pretty new to how cars and trucks work, i am kinda lost on what to do. only thing ive heard that could help would be to get a better air intake
heres the truth. the media acted like this man was crazy. he was the only one with a real answer. watch it and learn why. its inflation and the FED along with the help of the US government.

So ron paul will increase fuel mileage? Nothing against your opinion dude but, save stiff like this post for the offtopic threads
Winter blemd does suck, but what is hurting our mileage is ethanol, and within the next 6 months ethanol content is going up to 15%, our mileage wont be normal again until ethanol goes bye-bye, (if it ever does), best thing to do is stay on top of maintenance: tune ups, fluids, tire rotations, pressure, and tire tread as well, (if you drive on the highway and paved roads 90% of your time stick with a good all season or at mts are better offroad only) but the fact is the kj is a bit of a pig, im contemplating a set of 4.10s with my tax return if they will work well with my 245 75 16 tires (most of my driving is on road so my biggest concerns would be lower speed torque, and fuel economy, although the offroad/towing benefits are great too)
13.8 is pretty normal when I drive like an ass. And I still have yet to do spark plugs. And stop filling your tires to high 30's in PSI before it gets warm and they burst on you. Keep them down to between 30-35.
Oh and stop driving like an ass and MAYBE you'll see 14-15mpgs, since you're doing town driving.
The hell? What planet are you from?
Even P metric tires can be aired to 44psi(standard load) or 51psi(extra load) before any risk of over inflation caused blowouts will occure.Poor tires that result from lack of maintenance are the main reason for blowouts.Happened to my father.
