2003-2007 Jeep Liberty Lift Kits - Daystar KJ09116BK - Daystar Comfort Ride Lift Kits

So I want a lift kit, not the full blown out suspension kit; Just something that will effectively lift Jaine. I talked with a man named, "David H." from AutoAnything. He said that those parts go on top of my current shocks and suspension. So I wouldn't have to buy anything extra (including new shocks). He said it would lift Jaine 2.5"..

I asked him about sagging parts, he said that it comes with a Lifetime Warranty and nothing will sag. And that, in some instances, it will actually relieve some of the sag.

I need your thoughts. Is this worth it? Has anyone done it? Thanks guys.

They will do and say anything to sell you some junk a** parts !!
Your 04 springs are already sagged out more than likely plus your shocks are done for as well
Put on any kind of spacer lift and you'll end up with a worse ride than you have now
Many have tried over the years and wasted money before finally lifting one properly.
Do it right or do what the salesman is doing right now:smokin:
Sorry to be blunt but facts are facts

I knew you would comment Tom. And say something along these lines. Can you link me something that you would recommend?

Well since you have an 04 and need new springs and all new shocks then just get either the OME kit that has everything or piece one together with OME springs and good quality shocks like OME / Bilstein
No matter what they say with the Daystar kit you would need longer rear shocks number one, number two it would be very wise to also replace the front, so now you are within 160-180 bucks of the full OME kit

So if I were to piece one together, you're saying it'd be between $160-180?

No, what Tom is saying is that by the time you purchase the stuff you need to actually complete a Daystar lift (new longer rear shocks because you'll be lifting your Libby and you SHOULD replace your worn out front shocks) you will be within $160-$180 of a full spring and shock lift using OME springs and either OME or Bilstein shocks.

The reality is...

1) You'll have the suspension torn apart anyway for the Daystar so you're not saving any labor or time by doing a Daystar lift over a full spring/shock lift with OME

2) A Daystar does NOTHING to improve the ride or safety of your vehicle. It is only lifting it higher (for a while) till it completely trashes your springs and shocks.

As many others on here have done (including me) purchase the components as your budget allows (springs this month, shocks next month, add-ons like bumpstops & iso's the next month) and you'll have a premium lift and a safe, comfortable truck without killing your bank account.

It's been said many times before but take the advice of MANY years of experience from Rev. Mudd, me and others who actually drive their Libby's on the road and on the trails with the OME lift. That experience is priceless and worth far more than a sales rep on the phone who is simply looking at the text on his computer monitor to tell you info the manufacturer has provided him with. You'll be much, much happier and much safer with a full spring and shock replacement than a spacer lift and you'll be able to give the same advice to others down the road thanks to your top-shelf Liberty experience. :party52:

Some people say I sound just like Pavarotti,

when he had the cold and flu and couldn't stop coughing..............
I was singing to my wife when we topped a small hill in Tanzania and I got pulled over for speeding! She said never to sing again! Not sure if it was that bad or she thought it was bad luck :hidesbehindsofa:
