I don't have skids on yet but I'd love to check it out one of these weekends. Would I be safe on these "roads" without skids? Obviously I wouldn't to any serious mudding or anything.

Yeah youll be all set. I only have a front engine skid. Stock other than that besides AT's and hooks. I was worried at first like you but you will be all set, if your with another rig you will definitely be OK. Dave and myself are trying to make a run this weekend, would you be interested? The only reall danger I saw out there was ice and i wasnt sure if it was a frozen mudhole. But the roads are fine, you will have clearance, and just take it easy.
