We're all used to driving hours to go anywhere like off road parks. I've driven over 7 hours just to off road in Kentucky.
Then M&Gs for example, we have folks who drive several hours to come to one.
Next week we'll have people from western Indiana and Mid Pa attending
Nothing is ever close by.

Just can't wait for my first off road trip, how ever far away it is.

Well if everything goes well at work I am thinking about taking a trip to silver lake this weekend. Do you need any kind of permit or pass? and do they have the flags somewhere local?

Google it. I believe a state park passport and ORV sticker are needed.
But check it out for yourself so you Know The Rules. We have already had fatal accidents there.

can't find the cost for a one day vehicle voucher anywhere, planning on going early to miss the crowd if possible. Bringing the kids so safety first as always.
