Hi All!

So yes I am new to the forum! But I've had my 04 Liberty for just about a year. I was in a bad accident last year, and I needed what I thought would be a beater vehicle, until I got my truck back together. Well one thing lead to another and hear I am. :D
So I added a RRO lift with OME 926 front springs, OME shocks, earlier this year, I also added the RRO uca's, I also added a rear powertrax locker too, I'm running 245/75/16's. I've had it out on a few trails some pretty decent trails lot of greens and impressed quite a few new Rubicon owners on some moderate blue trails
So today I was going to add 1/2 clevis spacers as my front end has dropped about 1.5 inches.
My center of wheel to fender height was 20 3/4 inches. So I started with the passenger side it fought me pretty good but the spacers are in, now sitting at 22 1/4 inches.
Then I started on drivers side well before I went any further I saw that the upper coil spring insulator was spit out about 1/2 way
So is the upper spring insulator a stock component? I called RRO they said it should be? Grrr....should be? So is it a stock insulator? Not sure if anyone has experienced this.
Also what is everyone running for the sway bar links? Mine on the passenger side is about an Inch away from the bolt hole. Are there extended sway bar links?
And last question is I added the RRO uca's bumpstop extensions they bolt to the upper ball joint and adds about 2 inches?
Is that going to be good for me?
My plan is to add a set of used moab rims and 265/75/16's mud tires. I know I have 373's but not planning on the regear yet to 410's. These tires won't be for daily driving, I'll use my 245's.
If you made it to the end of this Thanks! In advance, and I look forward to chatting with you guys and gals!

Harry

First you bought the wrong spring rate, should of been 927s
Next never deal with RRO, total a**holes, know nothing
third 1/2 clevis is too much, 3/8 inch at the most
RROs bumpstops are a joke
Should of used the Teraflex ones , use them instead of stock ones
No need to sway bar link extensions, I've ran over 4.5 inches of lift for over 120,000 miles with no issues with stock ones, bolt right up

Thanks Tom for the reply, I had picked up the RRO kit off of Ebay, I did get a good deal 600 for everything, but ok wrong spring rate? I had no clue until I did more research.
So can I run the 926's with the 1/2 in clevis? or are they just too soft?
Also about the upper spring insulator is that just a stock piece? And is there any particular brand that's good for the insulators,?

Thanks Harry

Clevis height is separate from spring rates chosen... 3/8" max is because of the suspension geometry design, being able to get alignment within spec, and probably most importantly, having enough of the shock INSIDE the steering knuckle to be able to stay together.

926 springs are only slightly better rates than OE, close to what should have been the factory choice to begin with, but then I don't believe the 926;s give as much lift as the 927s do.

That spring iso doesn't look "old" exactly.. but it could have been damaged on install either way. It looks like it split or was cut in half. Did you install these parts? I bought new isolators, aftermarket parts, when I installed my Bilsteins and OME 927s. I did no clevis lift and added a 3/8" top plate. I was sitting at about 22.5 right side, 22.25 left side. I've lost about 1/2" on both sides and am going to need a clevis lift to both regain that, and level it out. The front left ALWAYS sits a touch lower than the right. Adjust as needed.

Extended sway bar links are completely unnecessary.

Hi Jason
Thanks for the info. I kinda winged it as I hadn't been on the forums before.
Yeah the springs everything is new. I bought the kit from a guy on Ebay. Rockfather kit 948 rear springs and extended shocks. The front coils I had no idea about. Until I read up on the forums. When I first installed them the liberty sat up pretty good never measured though after the installation.
So I wheeled it pretty good but back in May I was heading down a trail and a guy plowed into the back of me. Probably what caused the spacer to spit out like that. Didn't notice it till the drivers side started sitting lower and 245's started rubbing.
So I replaced the isolator, added the spacers, the RRO bumpstops and the terraflex bumpstops.
The libby now sits all around 22in ish. Looks and drives much better too. Haven't taken it out yet on the trails though.
Yeah looks like at some point I will have to swap out to the 927's and do the top plate spacer. And like yours let'em settle and add the 3/8 spacers.
So at 22 inches is there enough room for 265's,?
Thanks Harry
