Passenger side flood

I have a 2005 jeep liberty it’s my daily it’s a first gen and I really need help sorting out how can I quick fix my leak I don’t know where it is coming from and I don’t have the money to fix it I would love some tips and things that could possible be my problem (it only floods when it rains or when the I clean it)

The truck doesn’t have a sunroof and the leaking it’s completely wetting my passenger floor and back passenger floor every time it rains I have checked if it is the ac water and it’s not it only happens when it rains or I wash the truck I am starting to believe it’s a problem with the water leaking from the top of the truck but I don’t see any water anywhere just there in the floor I have seen some things on YouTube about removing a side panel and water gets inside from there but idk how and if it is from there

Try putting the hose just on the windscreen and see if any water comes in under the dash, if not try the hose on the door windows and see if that lets any water in, if its still dry inside try the hose around the top of the doors very carefully on low pressure avoiding the roof rails, if the floor is still dry put the hose on it roof rails.
Hopefully this will narrow down where it's leaking from.

I’ll try that and I’ll answer you the results back but how would I know it’s filling up with water if I don’t see any water leak from inside I can just feel the water on the floor

You will have to try and dry it with old towels etc and then feel for it.
Just a thought, you have checked the roof for rust holes haven't you?

Having a similar issue with our 08 KK. Passenger floor wet after the recent SOCal atmospheric river storm. Ive read about leaking from the cowl area / drain. Hopefully ill get into it this weekend. If thats it, anyone know if there’s a specific gasket? Or just good old silicone in a tube to seal her up? Will report back. Best of luck with your KJ.

Mine had that leak. It was under the windshield cowel around the wipers. There is a screen box there. It has a gasket under it that dissolves. Remove it and clean it and seal it with windshield sealant. Have not had a leak since
