Does anybody know the answers to the following?

1) Can I buy just the weatherstripping that goes around the sunroof?

2) If so, can it be replaced without removing the sunroof?

3) Where can I find an online parts fiche for the KJ?

it could be "05066896AA\5066896AA SEAL, SUNROOF GLASS" but I can't find an image for it.

ps: btw, Signe, are you sure you have 45RFE with 3.7 in `03?

If he has an early enough build date, he would have the 45RFE... they stopped putting them in about mid-way through the 2003 model year.

My wife's 02KJ is looking to need a new seal on the sunroof as well. I found this site that has the seal for sale for about $55.

http://www.sunroofdoctor.com/

It's the only site I've found with the seal for sale. When you go to the site select "Parts for factory installed sunroofs" on then far left. Then select Jeep liberty. (It's located in the middle column).

From what I see they only have kj parts, no kk parts?

I haven't discovered that I need any, yet, but it's nice to know of a source.

Unfortunately it looks that way. Maybe contact them to see if they stock KK parts?

Also, my glass seal popped out in the front, pushed it back in the slot and put some rubber conditioning lube on it to keep it plyable.
Bet it has never seen any lube since day one.
Also lubed the tracks with moly grease.
