I ordered another set of Bilstein 24-139168 for the front of my 07. I'm going to use them with the Rusty's springs from my wifes 02.

Old springs and new shocks......never would do
You need to match new springs and shocks, weaker springs causes new shocks to wear more quickly, same as old shocks and new springs
When I started doing suspension work back in the 70s I was taught that and then learned the hard way when I did it ( trying to save someone a few bucks ) and had to replace parts again.
170 bucks is cheaper than the alternative.

My 07 still has the original front springs and shocks so I will gain about 2'' from these front springs.

Got the passenger side done today. New moog LBJ, dorman upper a arm, moog lower clevis bushing, wheel bearing, bilstein shock and the 9 year old rustys springs. Added 1/4 inch top plate.

Can't get it aligned right.
I suck at trying to post pictures. This took an hour and I don't know if you can even see it.

Did the shop say why? Camber and caster I can get... lower control arm bolts are probably seized, like mine.. but toe ought to be able to get in spec unless your tie rod ends are so wopped out as to be dangerous to drive.

I reall don't know. I know nothing about alignments. No seized LCA bolts. The tech said I need more positive camber.
I hope the JBA's help.

Being that they are longer, they should, yes. What that means is that it pushes the top of the wheel outward, away from the vehicle. Right now, they are probably suspecting that that the bottom of your wheel/tire is out further than the top...

That is what they said, too much negative camber and no more adjustment. The tech showed me the LCA bolts. He explained how they were adjusted to pull the tire in as far as they would go.

Still very odd at your lift height.. I'm 1/2" higher and on stock UCAs and LCAs with siezed camber bolts and mine is still only just, off spec.

Do you have a clevis lift also? if not, you can do a 3/8 clevis for free and it'll help pull the wheels negative also.

Nope. Not with the way the IFS suspension works. When I had mine aligned, they couldn't get the left front into spec. Was too much + camber. So, i did the clevis lift to draw it -

Do an experiment, strap a board to your wheel/tire vertically with the end just below the flare and put a mark on the end of the board even with the edge of the flare. With the board there, jack up the front and you'll see the board move inward at the flare pulling the wheel more - camber.

Just be careful when you let the jack down if the board is still there so you don't smash your flare with it.

I have too much negative camber. More clevis lift would bring the top of the tire in more and make it worse correct?

How many 1000s of KJs have had their alignments done at 2, 2.25, 2.5. 3 and up inches with no issues at all,
Go around and talk to suspension and alignment shops and see who actually knows their stuff.
Throwing parts and changing heights is not the " real " solution
Been trying to stay out of this, but dang

I was trying to keep all this in the other thread ''Alignment help''.
I have some current alignment specs from yesterday posted there.
I not looking to change anything else... except the alignment.

Ok. I miss read. L was thinking more neg. was needed. JBA UCA's for lifted should push more positive.
