I wish I had money too.......I'm now about as broke as I can get. Basically, I bought the Jeep all over again since paying it off a couple years ago. It is a low mileage vehicle and I plan on keeping it forever so it was a better choice to me than going w/ 5 more years of payments on a JK (Wrangler) that I would have also dropped at least another 10K into and looked like every other JK on the road.

Bumpers are All J Products design from a couple years ago.....long story on why not available...don't ask.

I will be addressing the brake lines in the near future as I am not happy w/ them either so they will probably get changed out for full length flex lines. It is what I had so I used them for the time being. Getting in is no prob but I keep forgetting how high it sits from the drivers seat so right now it is more like falling out than getting out. So far it is Fun and will keep me busy with lots of other projects lined up for it.

^^^^Agreed^^^^

Plus it's nice being very unique!

socksThat is one Skookum setup you have for yourself.
How much would such a setup cost a fellow KJ owner/enthusiast compared to other "Extreme" lift kit's which I've been looking at?
It really depends on what type of axles using,t-case(stock or not),labor, and many, many other varibles. But look at spending at least $10,000-$20,000 to do a SFA swap on a KJ.

on here
John, I'm glad you got it done. I read some of your posts about it over on L O S T but didn't see the finished pic's. Seemed like you were working on it a long time. I know you have many many hours of work in it.

It's just really nice......actually awesome. It looks like a realy nice professional job too.

I would be interested in seeing some pic's of it on the trail. I am real curious to see the flex it will have. I know you will put some flex shots up for all to enjoy...............:D

Went back to the spot (Quartz Hill, Ca. looking over the Lancaster area, in the distance is Mojave) where one of my first dirt shots were taken.
New in 03, about 150 miles:

There is a nice rutted off camber hill climb leading up to this spot but tough area to take pics and you can't linger or the cops will chase you away fom the water tanks that are on the hill. (I also have a Geocache up there)

Please excuse my ignorance, but what keeps the front diff. from coming up and hitting the oil pan?
