Smaller winter tires

Sorry if this question has been asked before. 2005 Liberty Limited has 235/65R17 stock tires. Will 236/65R16 winter tires fit with new steel rims? Dealerships won’t give me a straight answer. (Aeh)

I am running 235/70/r16's......
so..that size you listed shoulf fit...

u just cant go using 15's since the rims will rub against the brake caliper..(unless you get cragars..)


I dont know what the base sport tire size is, but it's smaller than the size I listed..(but it's still 16")

you should be fine..
