The Kj should be ok with out the snorkel as long as you dont go above the hood line, and have your breather tubes moved up.

There are alot of folks who build their own "Home made" snorkels.
And yes, they are functional as well!
How do you think "Commercially" available snorkels came about for sale to the motoring enthusiasts?
And no, they are not just a "Version" of a military unit.

I've been ill with this "Swine Flu" crap since it hit big time on the second of November...
It through a wrench into the whole "Jeep mod's" this last little while!
Now I have to eat for two people to catch up on all the food I've missed!

Well instead of being able to work on the KJ, I have been working on keeping food down!

i think the stainless steal one or the one with exhaust piping would be the best choice.. if there were ever a need for a snorkel on a kj i would make one. buuuuuut. theres not

yeah but kj is no where near water proof. and even if you go with the dusty environment argument.. TBJ changes his filter 3x more often since the snorkel install..
