Soo I tried to change my radio and I need some help!!!

I tried changing my stock radio to a aftermarket one and did something wrong the new radio started smoking so I unplugged quick but now stock radio won’t wonk I checked the fuses they are good but now I have no radio and my Key fob don’t work either! Any ideas on what could have happened?

I know that on my 2002 Export CRD Sport if the radio loses power then you have to type in a 4 digit number to get it to work again! My radio code is 2134 which is in the owner's manual!

Key fob is a bit more difficult...have you tried your spare key fob?

Yeah i tried both sets of keys and the radio just isn’t getting power anymore
and for me to use the door locks now the car has to be running. It so weird I just can’t figure out what the heck happened…..

Try disconnecting the battery overnight, it may just need a reset.
Also are you sure you have checked all the fuses? There are several that are related to the BCM in the dash fuses box, I like to use a multi meter to check them, it's not always easy to see a blown one.
