I changed mine a few weekends ago. Make sure you have a swivel socket. I was able to change the passenger side plugs without removing the raditor overflow bottle. It is really easy and should only take about an 1 and 1/2.

I can't understand why everyone thinks changing the plugs is hard(or time consuming),I just did mine for the 2nd time and both times took less then 20 min,no special tools(no swivil, just a ratchet, extension, and 5/8" plug socket) and did not have to remove the coolant overflow, plenty of room to work in.I'm just wondering is all.

Southeast of disorder...
Troy, I was wondering the same thing when I did mine the first time. I did use a swivel on mine for the passenger rear (#6?) but other than that it was no where near as hard as some vehicles I've worked on.

That's because you must have been a quart low. You didn't have enough beer. With two 6-paks.....it's an hour and a half easy..........not including fishing your socket out of the intake.......:D

So Kevin, how much would you charge to change mine? :D I was getting ready to make an appointment w/Jeep (they want $99). Also need to get tsf case fluid changed, they called it a 4x4 "tune up", something like that, that is $199. (I think/hope that includes labor) So If you could or know someone who isn't as expensive that would be wonderful!! :p Even if it is on your side of town ;)

I work faster with each beer I drink(Alcy) ,after a 12-pack it should only take about 5 min(know it if runs or not is none of my care until the next morning:D ).I work even faster for beer(and do it right),had a bet going when I was in the Marines with 10 of my SSGT's,they bet that me and a buddy of mine couldn't replace a HUMMWV engine in less then 7 hours(no power tools and no crane),that's roll in then roll out(under it's own power).Well with 10 cases of beer at stack we got'er done in 1 hour and 52 min,we where drunk happy campers that weekend:D !
