Testing TPMS Sensors

I've had my TPMS Light on in my dash for over a year, I figure that one of the sensors must be bad which is causing the light to come on. I have checked the pressure in all 5 tires and it is good. I was just wondering if anyone knew if there was a way to test the sensors on my own because I called my local stealership and they wanted over $120 just to test them. I recently purchased 5 good used sensors from a fellow member here and plan to use 1 to replace my bad sensor and the other four in my spare set of black wheels.

You can try a local tire shop,might be a little cheaper.

I finally found someone to test my sensors for free!
Sears offered to test them for free, hoping that I would have them replace them for me. So I let them check them about 3 weeks ago, they said my spare and passenger rear sensors were not working. Well I'm getting my new tires tomorrow and decided to have them checked again to make sure no other sensors had went bad since so that I could replace them all at once tomorrow. Well when I had them rechecked today, the first attempt all the sensors showed to be working on the scanner but my dash light was still on, checked them all again and the spare and both rear sensors showed not to be working, checked them again and all were working again but my dash light was still on. Left drove down the road and the light continued to be on, is there possibly a sending unit that may be messed up that would cause the light to be on and the sensors function fine? Or could the batteries just be getting weak in the sensors and they're flickering off and on? I have 5 new ones so, I'm not sure if I should just replace them all or if that's even the problem, really.
