transfer case question

I have a 2 wheel drive kj that i am going to put a strait akle in front with 35's.it has a 5-speed .is this the same ****** as the 4wd?I realize the tailshaft is different but can I just change It from a 4wd ******. Is there any conversions for this .Ive done lifts like this before so the fabricating will be no problem ,just have to get this trasfercase worked out.

Pretty sure they used the same 5-speed on the 2wd kj's as the 4wd kj's. As you said, the tailshaft is different but other than that it should be the same.

Im not up to ***** on manual trannies in the kj though.
