I have a 2007 Jeep liberty limited and a 2003 Jeep liberty sport the 2003 has only 77,000 miles on it and was wondering if the tansfere case from it can be put on the 2007 limited. First photo is from the 2007 the second is from the 2003.

Have you tried looking up the build sheets? They list that sort of thing.

2003 rear diff has the speed sensor built into it
The 07 has ABS so that is different
then gearing depending on what transmission is in each one

New at this been working on replacing the transmission so when you ask "on each handle in the cabin" what is that you are asking for? I posted the picture of the part number of both of them. I am assuming they are different. The 2003 goes with the transmission I am putting in I was told by a mechanic this ****** works with my 2007 jeep just trying to figure if the transfere case will to.

You have the Selec-Trac transfer case with full-time 4wd. (ignore me, I'm wrong)

Years ago I did a 2005 CRD complete swap into a dead 2002 3.7, and I mean COMPLETE, including everything except for the sunvisors and the windshield washer reservoir. It all swapped directly in except for those two parts AND the transmission cross member mounts. The 2002 was straight and the 2005 was angled, sort of like a boomerang. We had to cut the transmission mount off of the 2005 cross member and replace/weld it onto the 2002 cross member. The difference between the two was a model year change, not diesel to gas model difference. You may have to take that into consideration.
