What is the improvement with doing this? Less oil burn off or decreases that sludgy foam that forms?

it's the TSB fix for the foam issue in the oil filler neck.

Tim: do you want to post the TSB notice in this thread too?

Where's the best place to order the parts from?

Just to be clear.
The kit is discontinued but you can but the individual parts listed in the kit which is more expensive than the kit itself.

Here are the parts you would need
53034065AA $13.00
68044349AA $51.64
53020891AE $31.74
5191775AA $0.92

These prices are from moparwholesaleparts.com

Yea. You have to find them separately and what not. Probably why I haven’t finished mine yet

From what I've found the hoses needed are 53032993AF and 53013886AB. Besides that I feel like all you need is a new pcv valve, and a vacuum cap to put on the old valve? I watched a video, I'll see if I can find it.

Has anyone else used those part numbers for this update? Has anyone done it with a vacuum cap instead of swapping the oil filler neck? I guess I'll know if it works in a few weeks when parts arrive.
