119 pounds of Backbone and 9.5. winch Tim.

Our Rig ready for CRD OME and front and rear ARB Air Lockers and 4.10 gear sets.
Then 265-75-16 rubbers!

Tim?

Wanna buy some "Broken in" Front HD OME Coil springs?
How about a set of gently used rear OME coil spirings as well?

That way we can upgrade to the CRD front coils and something stiffer/custom for the rear.

when I did it a couple years ago everyone here told me to go heavy duty

AND THEY WERE RIGHT!!!!! I love the ride. I have nothing extra, no monster bumpers or skids. Handles great and perfect for when I tow the boat or anything else.

Actually that might work, and I will not have to worry about breaking them in.
The price I am sure will be very very good..after all it is the season for giving!
Maybe I should bring more wine!...

Big box of goodies arrived yesterday. Now I need nice weather & time off at the same time. I have some reading to do before I start this project and I'll take the Scout out of hibernation in case I need other wheels for a day or two.

Nothing at all wrong Tomm. :happy175:

I'm beginning to beleive that Tomm is just a much older brother from another mother. I do the same.

Wes, you'll be happy with the HD springs.

The weather was nice this weekend; in the 70's, but a backlog of other projects kept me from working on my springs. I did an oil change and changed my belt tensioner. It hadn't failed yet, but at the last oil change, while listening around the engine with my probe (piece of pvc pipe) I heard a bumping noise and felt a slight vibration from the lower pulley. I didn't hear it anywhere else so I was sure it wasn't the belt. I was quite surprised how much quieter the under hood area was after changing the tensioner. Probably didn't have much longer on the old one. I ran it 103,000 miles, so I think I got my use out of it.
But on topic, here's a picture of my current ride height for the front. 31.75 inches:

You must be measuring from the ground to the fender. A better way is to measure from the cneter of the hub to the bottom of the flare. This will give you a better idea of the suspension height, and not be affected by the tire size.

Wish we had some warmer weather up here, I spent a little time in the (unheated) garage today building my rear bumpstops today and had to keep coming inside the house to warm up my fingers.

Yeah, from the ground. I just wanted to have a reference so I can see the difference between the badly worn out stock springs and the new OME springs waiting to be installed. Maybe next weekend, weather permitting.

Do like mentioned above measure from center to bottom of flare that way you can compare to others. Also after you lift have it aligned right away and then after you twist it up a few times and it settles in measure again then you'll know right where you are

Then I'll give you something to shoot for, mine 38 1/8 front 38 1/4 rear the way you measured:icon_twisted::shrug:

Measured from the center of the wheel:
19" rear
18.25" front
Getting out the tools now. Updates and pictures later.

Unable to come up with the correct spring compressor, this project is stalled until next weekend. I tried a couple things but realized a trip to the hospital was the most likely outcome.
