Weekend run to NE Wisconsin/U.P. Michigan

I spent all day Friday and Saturday camping and exploring the forest service/fire roads in northeastern WI and the upper peninsula of MI. I visited some of my favorite places in Nicolet National Park, but also found some new and different fun places to go in future trips that way.

Normally, I think they should be... but it was rainy and chilly the whole time. It didn't get above 60-degrees the entire weekend. Cold is the best kind of mosquito repellant.

I found that guy by accident. I thought it was just a really odd shaped rock... until it moved. lol3.gif

Depends on where you are... but for the most part, yes. The first night there, I stayed at a favorite campsite... Bear Lake. It's close to the town of Laona, WI.
