I'm going to do all the things I said I'd do but never got around to when we had a thread like this last year.

I really mean it this time. :emotions36:

I can see it now........Your Jeep is cowering in the corner of your new garage saying......"oh no, here he comes again and he is going to lift my hood, pull my dipstick, check my rear, and"..........:happy175:

1. Install IRO rear UCA. I've had it sitting for a couple months now lol

2. Install new JBA ball joint. I've had them sitting in the box as well

3. Locker/lsd on rear

Its only the first 3 of my never ending/ non stop updating list. It will update again once I get my house with garage and a welder.

Edit: trimming rear bumper (muddcut), *might* lower front to make more room for front uca/coil springs.

Some people are doing a full makeover. Damn!

Making progress on my list

My Blue 02' Liberty has led a tough life. 235K, a drivers side collision by the previous owner, etc etc. Luckily for me it has been up to the test.

Since owning it, I've taken care of the majority of "vehicle killing" trouble. This spring I have time to concentrate on some minor things:

  • New Tires: Done
  • New Brakes pads: Done
  • Rear handle Micro switch: Done
  • Rear Wiper repair: Done
  • AC Collector replace: Done
  • Cruise Install: Done

Still to do:
  • Shifter illumination light bulb replace
  • Overhead EVIC Install

Well cross off number 1 now. I have to add something back on though. I'll need to order a new lever position switch for the 4x4 system.

Fix it nuff said lol. If its not the brakes its the trans or a pump or a pulley. She is getting old and its falling apart. Worst thing is i get compliments all the time for how good she looks people think its alot younger than it is. For chicago to have no rust is a sign of a young vehicle.

Nope. Been working on this new house purchase. Inspection, loan and crap. Good news is, I'm most likely moving in first week of May and its got 2 car garage....and thats where I'll be spending eternity working on new builds, repairs and etc.

It seems like whenever I'm about to do what I need to do, I either get a new hobby or new higher priority things to do.

Pic of garage.

I need to replace my lower control arm bolts, buy some JBA upper control arms as I am burning through moog ball joints, and replace my rack and pinion bushings. Not even a little bit looking forward to it.
