Rear Coil Spring Insulators Install?

I'm about to order a set of 245/70/16 BFGoodrich AT KO's in a week or so, and I wanted to get 4 rear coil spring isolators and install 2 on each side before I got the tires put on. I'm going to order the insulators from Chrysler Parts Direct and was curious of how to go about installing them. I know I'll need to remove both rear tires but then I'm lost... Do I need to jack the frame up and not the axle so that there is no weight on it? Will I need to rent a coil spring compressor to compress the springs in order to add in the new insulators?

First why do you want to lift the rear? 245-70s will fit with no problems at all. Thats going to jack up the rear an awful lot more then the front.
But if you're doing it, remove both rear tires, remove bottom shock bolts, have KJ on jack stands and let the rear diff down as far as it goes, now if you are doing it your self take the stock jack and place it between the caliper and the frame and spread one side apart at a time, remove spring, install the isolators , replace spring and repeat on the other side

Unbolt the rear swaybar and a heavyset friend standing on one side of the axle is very helpful after putting the rear of the KJ on jack stands and removing the rear tires and unbolting the rear shocks.

I'm lifting the rear because I did a clevis lift and the results being as flexible as they are you can tell a great difference in my front height, so it looks like the rear is sagging now and I just want to level it out, I know the tires will fit with ease I just want a more level stance. Thanks for the instructions though! However, my stock scissor jack was mauled with my first time to use it on a flat tire change in a restaurant parking lot. It was setting on the rim and I couldn't get a very good position to place the jack, got it under the LCA and cranked it 3 times and tried to slide a hydraulic jack under it and before I could even get the hydraulic ready to slide under my kj sunk back down mangling the scissor jack beyond being able to ever reuse it! But I do have another one in the shop I could use for that simple task.

alright, I'm still a little fuzzy on these things I'm about to order 4 of them and I'm still not positive of how to install them. I know I'll need to jack the rear body up and place it on stands to take the weight off of the coils then will I need to rent a compressor to compress the spring in order to remove it or will the removal of the weight make the spring loose enough to just remove it without compressing it? Is that what the heavy set friend is for? to flex the axel one way so that one side is loose enough to remove it? what is a good location to place the jack stands? would the mopar gas tank skid be suffice?

Place the jack stand under the frame in front of the rear lower control arms, lower jack which was placed under the rear pumpkin, remove the lower shocks bolts and lower the jack, now just pull the springs out

those look like the lower isolators. they're just placed between axle and the bottom of the spring to keep it from rubbing and making a noise, the weight of the jeep body holds it in place, I don't think you can add them together like you can the uppers. The uppers have grooves in them that line up together like checkers, you can stack them. So when you put extp

not sure about the dealer ship.... I'm ordering mine from http://www.chryslerpartsdirect.com/ scroll down the screen and fill out the replacement parts section on the left. When the search pulls up several links on the left as in Alternator, Automatic transmission, Body hardware, Brakes, and so on click the link Rear suspension then the sub link Suspension components the another sub link Spring insulator. Be sure to order the UPPER not the lower. They're sold individually so if you want 2 on each side buy 4 if you just want 1 on each side then order 2.
