One thing i've been learning over the past couple of years with it, is that Autel isn't the be all end all for tools. It's a good tool, but it's far from perfect, especially on "older" stuff.Hi Sota, unfortunately I’m rarely up your way. The 2007 and the 2008 share a lot of the same electronics though, so maybe you could be lucky.
You can download JScan from the Apple or Google app stores for free and run it on Demo Mode for the 08 KK and see what you think.
To read a vehicle, you would need one of these Bluetooth OBD2 dongles: https://a.co/d/4qJQ8Be
JScan’s free mode lets you see a lot of data from the Jeep, but if you want advanced features like 2-way communication it would be $21 to purchase a license for your VIN.
I don’t know, could you pretend to be an 08 for the app? It would be cool if you could. But if your Autel can’t do it, I don’t know if this could. Maybe you can get an indication from the free mode if it can’t parse the 07 data. Worse case scenario you have just spent $31 on a Bluetooth dongle you can use to run the Torque app.
