Help??! Pigtail wiring- odometer
“New sensor is on its way“ Hard to tell from the picture but even if the sensor connector itself is broken it will be a good idea to replace the wiring connector pigtail at the same time.- seafish

Replacing the steering linkage is a labor intensive job that is NOT really worth doing unless the linkage is also worn out and sloppy rather then just leaking a drop. I suggest cleaning it completely off with a degreaser and try to find where the actual leak is rather then just where the drip...- seafish

TC is short for transfer case which is what I though you were referring to when you said “transfer”. Red/Pink fluid means it is ATF+4 which is what the AT, the TC and also the PS system use. That said your drip is on the steering linkage housing and as others have pointed out, the PS system is...- seafish

Help??! Pigtail wiring- odometer
That pigtail is a known failure point …There’s a lot of movement on the axle/ suspension particularly when driving off-road and the wires eventually fail from metal fatigue- seafish

If your odometer is not working right now then it is the pigtail connector that plugs into the ABS/speed sensor at top of them rear differential.- seafish

A/C starts cold then gets warmer
It just depends on the condition of the fins and amount of corrosion...every time I tried cleaning and straightening the fins on mine, they woulds just break... so IMO it want really fixable. FYI, while I am NOT sure about AC condensor in the the V6 3.7 the one in the CRD is a combined A/C...- seafish

A/C starts cold then gets warmer
My 2005 KJ CRD was doing the same thing...the original condensor was dirty, corroded and had damaged fins. Like blackhawk, I replaced the condensor, and also the orifice line and drier/accumulator and had a garage vacuum and refill the system... it blows nice and cold now all the time.- seafish

TIMING BELT ON A DIESEL
That must be for the 3.7 V6...its 100k miles (160km) for the 2.8 CRD. Not that theres any danger in replacing it sooner, but not what the OP asked... ;)- seafish

Factory spec on the timing belt is every 100k miles. What else you should ALSO change while doing the timing belt is more complicated.- seafish

First time SKIM problem?
Thanks for the advice!!! I cant find the Bosch here and the even the boutique import parts house that I use and trust sells the Standard Motor Products crankshaft sensor. I have been somewhat impressed with the quality of SMP ignition parts and sensors that I have been using so far. Totally...- seafish

First time SKIM problem?
Confirmed that the soft clunk I heard was the likely the intake throttle opening up after shut down...still not sure about why she started up right after that happened ... unless the "cooling down" time for the CPS aligned or overlapped with the intake reopening. That said, I didn't even know...- seafish
