    Also, KKs have an open cooling system (radiator cap on the radiator, the coolant take just has a plastic cap on it), which self bleeds so I doubt there's air in it.

    Usually if it's a bad WP you'll have noise and/or a leak. Plus at higher RPMs you'd get more heat. To me it sounds like a Tstat that's stuck largely open. Where does the gauge read? We ended up taking Cutoff Rd to the end and then going left, found a couple more good trails off of it (being careful to avoid the ATV ones!). Kept going on left after Cutoff and eventually found another trail...

    I'd check the Idle Air Control valve...sound like it's not getting enough air at lower RPMs.

    Make sure to use a dab of blue loctite on the bolts. I noticed a few of mine were loose a year or two after doing the repair.

    2007 liberty cooling issue

    My bleed procedure is to fill through the bleed hole till it comes out, put the screw back in, fill the tank to the normal full line, let it run for 10-15 mins with the heat on till the level in the tank drops, fill it again, done. Check it in a few days.

    Detailed the Rene. Here are the pics (before and after!). Used Meguire's Super soap, then clayed it with some $13 amazon clay mitt (worked great!), then polish with a blue pad and Meguire's Ultimate Polish. Topped it off with DG 111/601 mixed with a black pad. Before: After:
