That is a nice one.. I honestly did not have them on my list, the mpg (city) is not as good as I would like, but really not that bad. I could maybe squeeze out another $1k, I am keeping my options open. Gotta just drive around, visit some dealers and see what it out there and on line.. Thanks...- family KJ

Well, I sold her today... $7k. A sad day as she was with me for almost 6 years and I put alot of work into her. The 140 miles a day was costing me too $ in gas and too much wear and tear. My son was most disappointed, but I re-assured him that hopefully a year or 2 will get us another one. Maybe...- family KJ

It looks like that, it is not. It is a through bushing. I just went to google for jeep liberty parts, I honestly don't remember, but there are only a few that carry the bushing that come up on google. When you read the link, you will see more about it. Buying a used 2002-2005 liberty...specifics between sports and renegades
My 02' has been good.. I have needed a new a/c compressor as well, new steering column, 1 new passenger front window regulator, front drive shaft... A/c Compressor Bypass
Have you removed the compressor... If so, all you need to do is follow the diagram in the thread below, get some string and measure the total length needed once you have installed over all the pulleys.. I used a 79.5" belt, but routed it per my picture attached in thread.. Does not matter the...- family KJ

Yes.. I got that... I mentioned TKO autoparts because they also have a metal braket at $30 Less than Steiger. I can also buy the entire set up, motor and all, just as the dealer would, for $130... So, yes, it could be more than just the bracket, but I can't believe the $$$ the dealership want...- family KJ

The aftermath... Thanks for the diagrams... After a quick evac at the local a/c shop... I removed the compressor, covered up the lines, (duct tape) and installed the smaller belt.. There are a few ways you can route them correctly, in the end I used a 79.5" belt in the route I used. That...- family KJ
