im glad my kids arent at that age yet .... one will take my jeep the other will take my lowered mazda truck haha

i personally have never had a NGK but on me .... there MUT be omethign more to the story ..... over tightened... too much heat ... i dunno . regardle i hope whatever you chooe work for you!
pull the battery terminal (-) and stand on the break for 5 minutes then re-attatch and see. if they used OEM it would be NGK ... check the wiring for fraying around the pigtail.... if none of this works i'd see about gettiing your PCM tested.
in reality it shouldnt be that hard to add a button to unlatch the thing... just a couple wires and a toggle possibly a rely just to activate the popper.
great looking jeep .... firstly to do a 6 inch lift you need 20k a cup (spacer?) lift is not recomended.... the best you can do for now would be a ome or ironman lift...
the very worst would be a valve spring .. sometimes the plastic rocker flys off sometimes it bends the rod sometimes no sometimes its a broken spring causing this....
