Fram,cheapest oil from walmart-good to go. All that stuff about changing oil at 3000m is just propaganda put out to sell oil. Go on,5qt of oil will hold up well for 10-15thou.:evil::hidesbehindsofa:
Tie rod could have play,they do wear out. As for dropping rack,would not worry about it. I would go some place else as that place seems to have no experience with lifted vehicles.
If you decide to go ahead with a cooler the return line has little pressure,the pressure line is quite strong,might play hell getting a seal if you cut the line.
Just condensation. As long as oil in pan/on dipstick looks good no worry. There are some posts about this on here,maybe from the great oil debates of 2010.
Mud tires will make a huge difference. And even then they have to be spun fast enough to clean/throw mud out of the tread. Snow and ice are a different animal altogether.
