    2002 KJ 3.7L - *BRAND* of Gas

I've run Costco, Thornton's, BP, Shell, Marathon....all 87 octane, and never had an issue nor a difference in gas mileage. By the way, Costco is on the "top tier" gasoline list, as is BP, Shell...to name a few. I spose Thornton's might be a crap shoot, but it's what I mostly use without issue.

    Manual trans question

Ours works on a hydraulic master/slave system (like the brakes), no cable. But it sounds like your clutch may be permanently disengaged, as in the clutch disc could have snapped, for one example. Remove the slave cylinder from the bellhousing, and peek inside while the engine is running. If you...

    Stock UCA maxed out

You talking about the tall iso's that you have circled in red? You were right the first time, they go on the bottom.

    Catalytic Converter Failure

Oh, in that case, leave the exhaust together and instead stand the Jeep on it's nose...then shake. :happy175:

Manual, starting to have clutch issue

With a limp pedal, and presuming the fluid hasn't leaked out/dropped way low, then yes it looks like the hydraulic system should be the culprit. The master & slave is a unit, so yeah you'd be replacing both.

    Catalytic Converter Failure

Remove the muffler/tailpipe, stand it on end, and shake the bits out.

    Front brake line how too

Depends on where you get the line/hose from. I got mine from Advance Auto and had to grind the block down some for it to fit.

Sure you can. Are you having battery or starter issues?

Hub bearing assembly stuck on CV axle

Crank your lug nuts on backwards so the flat side is against the puller, then you won't ruin them

Hub bearing assembly stuck on CV axle

Back the nut out till it's flush with the shaft, then whack it with a hammer. Might need to use a drift pin to go beyond that point after the nut is off. I removed mine with 130k miles (in the great northern salt belt), without needing a puller.

    Transmission issue

In all the vehicles I've had with overdrive, I always switched off the O/D until hitting a consistent 45+ mph to avoid transmission gear hunting, which sounds like what you're describing. You don't need or want the trans in overdrive during city speed driving.

    Tailgate conversion

Swing gates suck big time if you're in the habit of hauling a stack of long boards that hang out the back. But that's what pickup trucks are for, ours was designed for hauling groceries and soccer equipment.

    Tailgate conversion

Liftgates are a single unit, ours has a separate glass and gate. You can't hang the lower gate from the glass, nor does anybody make a one-piece liftgate for the Liberty. There is a company (Jeep Wrangler Aluminum Drop Down Tailgate Conversion Kit), that makes a swing open to drop down tailgate...

Engine Codes on 2006 Liberty 4x4, Also whirring sound.

Autozone will scan your codes for free. Also, the whirring could be your alternator, it's under more of a load when the electric fan is running. It shouldn't be making noticeable noise though, and the whirring could be altogether something else.

Trans issue. Not sure what happened

Transmission could have crapped out, or could be the transfer case, or the torque converter went, or the flexplate cracked and separated where it mounts to the crank, or the torque converter to flexplate bolts came loose and dropped out or snapped, or could have blown the rearend, or a u-joint...
