    Rough Idle/CELs?

How high do the fuel trims spike to, when taking off? Also, if you can view freeze frame data, see if you can review the freeze frame for the P0174. Look at the RPMs when the code set. The front O2 sensors, B1S1, and B2S1 should switch, once they warm up, which is within 90 seconds of...

    RIP Jeepy 2004-2014

That's the first problem. Autozone. If reputable repair shops will not do business with them, that should tell you something right there. If you get your advice from a bunch of knuckleheads, then you're asking for trouble. You suffered engine failure, so lets address that aspect. If you run...

    Rough Idle/CELs?

Your cheaper scan tools won't do what mine does, with the graphing and flight recorder mode. With what you have, it may not display fuel trim data correctly, if at all. Fuel trims should have a number next to them that changes. Long term is a longer average or trend, short term is basically...

    removing rear sway bar

Its more for harmonics I believe, than anything else. May get a little more noise, or something. Nothing mud terrains won't cover up lol

    Rough Idle/CELs?

Where did you come across that? Here is a screen shot off a scan tool I have, with my KJ You may have to save it, and blow it up to clearly see what it says

    15 in wheels on a 06?

Even with lift, an aggressive 30x9.5 tire will rub on the front bumper. This is mine, after Ironman springs, before the clevis and top plate lift. Front was at 20" in the pic. I had to do a pinch weld pounding, and trim the front bumper some. Still a little rub up front at times. 15x7"...

    No heat

The left side of the tank is a recovery compartment, to keep it from being dumped on the ground, and able to be recovered later. That itself wouldn't have anything to do with no heat. With your engine fully warmed up, is the temp gauge reading right in the middle where it normally runs? If...

    Rough Idle/CELs?

Your O2 code will likely return later on, its a bosch, lol. You're looking for LTFT 1, LTFT 2, or long term 1, long term 2. It'll be something along those lines. P0171 and P0174 set when the fuel trim reaches 20% typically but some say 25%. Positive numbers reflect the module is adding fuel...

    Rough Idle/CELs?

The ESP/traction control lights can come on due to an engine code, depending on what code is set. Every carmaker is different in that regard. One thing you never want to do, is pattern diagnose a problem. A lot of guys in repair shops do this, and have themselves fooled into believing they...

    Rough Idle/CELs?

The reason for telling you to remove the junk O2 sensor has less to do with the lean codes, but more to do with the B2S2 code you had set. When looking at the scan tool data, you need to look at long term and short term fuel trims for both banks. Have someone help you by driving it for you...

03 jeep liberty 3.7 engine problems

The idea of killing spark to a cylinder to identify rod knock goes back to the thought process that when the piston isn't getting hit with an ignited charge, it won't transfer that sudden surge of power to the worn rod bearing, and it will stop knocking. Doesn't always work that way however...

    Rough Idle/CELs?

First mistake, Bosch. You should never use Bosch sensors unless they were OE, to which they aren't. NGK/NTK, Denso, or Mopar sensors are what you should be running. Bosch sensors are of a different design, and perform slower, causing both codes, and in some cases running issues...

    dumped exhaust

Where are you going to put it? Do you want it to not make noise, or do you want it to continue to sound like a pissed off bee? Put the stock type muffler in and your problems are solved. Its not like you gained 10hp with the setup you have. Its a simple problem, with a simple solution. It...

    Parts are coming in

Just remember, just because the guy gets dirty, owns a toolbox and works at a shop, doesn't mean he actually knows a thing. The smart ones don't get as dirty, and the knowledge in your head is something you don't buy, you earn. The upper arms have 0, ZERO bearing on the springs, other than...

    dumped exhaust

First off, what you want to do is illegal in PA and in the US. Most websites also forbid discussions of illegal activity. It will also turn on your engine light. So what? How will you know a problem is starting, until you're broke down, because the engine light has been on for so long...

Difference between water pump and freeze plug leak diagnosis?

Technically you are right, the plugs are for the sand in the castings, however if you go to the parts store and ask for a sand casting plug, they will look at you like you're on some kind of crack. Just call them a freeze plug which is what they are known as to the parts guy.

    Trutrac front and rear?

DTTs are on my list, just need business to pick back up a bit first. Found a place online that sells the front DTT for $389 I think, $590 for the rear I think. Only thing I'm trying to decide, winch or DTTs first.

    Trutrac front and rear?

I've been away from the area too long jo6pack to suggest a place. If you're in the proximity of La Crosse, then you might find a shop there.

    Trutrac front and rear?

There are a few who run them or have ran them. The front one tends to make the steering want to return to center more than it would without one. If you hang a wheel in the air, it won't make the other wheel grab, as there needs to be some tension to make the limited slip work. Easy fix is to...
