Nicolet NF - NE Wisconsin (last weekend) w/ PICTURES!

Minnesota, anyone?
If you do ever decide to hit up any of the forest service roads up in Chippewa, I highly recommend picking up a motor vehicle use map from the local ranger station. They are updated regularly (at least once a year) and highly detailed as far as location and length of trails. -
Minnesota, anyone?
We were up in Northern MN a few weeks ago. There are some really nice two-tracks up in the Chippewa National Forest. Even found a couple of trails that ran along the Mississippi River. It would make for a nice weekend trip for you folks in MN. I've got some pics posted here... -

Great Lakes Jeep Thing Toys 4 Tots 4x4 Parade - Chicago, IL
This is one of the nice things about the way Great Lakes Jeep Thing organizes the Toys 4 Tots parade. They invite (or at least try to) ALL the 4x4 clubs in and around the Chicago area. There's a group that comes down from Milwaukee, WI every year for the event. It's great to see so many... -

Thanks! :) He swooped across the trail about 30 yards in front of us. I told Jan to look up in the trees to spot it. Took a bunch of shots as we approached really slowly so as not to spook him.- jeepfrog
